COMMUNITY OUTREACH & EDUCATION

For 30 years The Long term Care Ombudsman program (LTCOP) has been advocating for nursing home residents, mediating successful complaint resolution for quality of care issues in the St. Louis community.  With support from the community, LTCOP can make a difference with our advocacy efforts to residents and continue to provide FREE and objective information, education and training for businesses, individuals and families about long term care issues.

We can offer your business, group or organization an opportunity for community outreach and education which can be of great benefit to your members or employees, especially when an aging parent, elderly spouse, domestic partner or close friend of your group?s members suddenly requires long term care.

We will bring to you a one hour ?Breakfast, Lunch Hour, After Hours or Weekend? session at your group or place of business on how to make decisions, plan ahead, know what long term care is available, how to choose a quality nursing home or look at other options and how to manage it all.

The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program Information Center:  Offers placement information to those seeking long term care facilities or services; Offers information about Medicaid Vendor bed availability in the St. Louis region; Offers information about Elder Law Attorneys and other legal services; Offers information, speaking presentations and/or referrals on the following:
